The Heart Behind the Ministry

Dr. Ronnie Mathis Jackson

For more than 30 years, Dr. Jackson has dedicated his life to preaching, teaching, and equipping men, families, and ministry leaders through the transforming power of God’s Word.

For over 30 years Dr. Ronnie Mathis Jackson, a native of Macon, Georgia, has served in the church preaching, teaching, training ministers, members and leaders. He has worked extensively with both youth and adults in sacred as well as secular spaces, providing instruction, developing teaching and training materials.

Dr. Jackson’s personal ministry vision is to outreach and minister to the world, by teaching and empowering others to teach the message of repentance, reconciliation and restoration, which encompass the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.

Dr. Jackson believes in II Corinthians 5:18, which states “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation”.

The primary goal of RMJ is to reach men, right where they are, and to teach them the message of repentance, reconciliation and restoration in a way in which the hearer recognizes it as “living water” according to John 4:10-11 and John 4:39-42.

Dr. Jackson believes that ministry should begin in our homes and with our families and then with everyone else we come in contact with. Which is why family discipleship, healing in relationships and meaningful fellowship are so vitally important. He believes that when the anointed Word of God is applied to our conditions, it’s able to save lost souls, renew troubled minds, heal and change the lives of those who humble themselves and have faith to receive it.

Dr. Jackson believes that life-changing ministry must begin at the church with the intent to impact our homes and our families. This is done by equipping men, women, fathers, and mothers with biblical truths to teach and spiritually lead their own families. This means that the local church must be engaged in intentional, relevant, whole-life discipleship. This equipping form of discipleship must be designed to empower men, women and children, to walk out the teachings of Jesus and the scriptures in their homes first. This means that when men, women, husbands, wives, fathers, mothers and children, emerge from their homes they will come equipped to serve the unique needs of their local church and community, which is vitally important.

Dr. Jackson is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University. He earned his BA in Mass Communications at Fort Valley State University, GA; earned his MBA as a Graduate of Keller Graduate School of Business, Atlanta, GA; earned his Master of Higher Education Administration from the University of Alabama and earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Clark Atlanta University.
